Emilie Škrijelj manipulates and plays the accordion down to its smallest folds. She pushes it into an abstract electronic dimension, exploring and merging its edges and hidden contours. In her solo Glitch, she expands the instrument with salvaged objects – an accordion prepared in three dimensions. Inspired by the ondes Martenot, she uses amplification and loudspeakers to color, distort and filter the timbre, creating a choreography of sound that moves through the space.
