Emilie Škrijelj offers a workshop for musicians and sound artists exploring improvisation in situ. At the heart of our practice is listening: to oneself, to others and to our collective presence within the space. We will use our instruments as a medium, a tool for interaction that brings us into a state of „deep listening“ in the
present moment.
This workshop invites participants to experiment and explore how each of us can position ourselves within a soundscape and a physical environment. By investigating the movement of sound and the body, we will collectively compose a soundscape, inhabit it and imagine a choreography of sound – transforming the space into a partner and a playground, where sounds resonate, collide and echo within both an imaginary and physical environment.
